DN23 Postponed – a statement.

The events industry is currently facing the toughest ever challenge with the COVID-19 pandemic.

And we in Motorsports and track days are no exception, we can only react to the situation as it develops, as we’re sure you must too.

With that in mind, we’ve just had a long conversation with our friends at the Nürburgring and as you can imagine, they are having a really difficult time at the moment, as are we all.
We are expecting another announcement from the German Federal Government on 6th May 2020 which may, or may not, bring clarity to our situation but clearly that is too close to our event to be helpful anyway.
Plus, there are various travel bans across Europe and the world which we know may make if difficult for you to get to the Nürbugring at this time.

With this in mind we settled on a mutually beneficial agreement to postpone #DN23 Nürburgring trackday scheduled for the 8th May 2020.

We have written to customers who already have tickets, and they will receive a full credit to use on a future event.

On one hand we’re really sorry that the event is cancelled, and on the other we’re really grateful to our colleagues at the Nürburgring for helping us reach a sensible decision. It’s always very clear to us how they really value, not just the business relationship – but our friendship too.
Fingers crossed things get easier for them to plan the rest of their season soon.

Thank you for your patience, and please – make sure you’re ready when the lights go green!

Take care and we’ll see you trackside soon.
Darren Langeveld and the DN Events team.
