Two full days driving proper rally cars on a frozen lake in Sweden.

Organised and hosted by DN regular, Swedish race driver (and circuit operator) Richard Göransson , the Winter Ice Rally event provides more opportunity for the keen enthusiast to further hone their driving skills in a fun, safe and beautiful environment.
The two day course prioritises fun, supported by a professional team of experience hardened, ex rally drivers with the sole aim of ensuring you make the absolute most of the specially prepared fleet of competition cars. We’re pretty confident you will not feel short of seat time over the two days!
Speaking of which, we don’t know too many other ice driving events that use a fleet of Proto WRC and ex Prodrive Subaru Impreza Group N rally cars. All cars are 300hp+, 4WD with studded tyres, rollcage, racing seats, rally brakes, rally suspension, intercom, hydraulic handbrake etc – all to help you make the most of the various layouts our frozen lake has to offer. Paired into cars, you’ll have around 7hrs of seat time PER DAY!
Proper Motorsport Action!
As stated, accommodation at the classic resort of Snöå Bruk (click to view) is included, with the hotel providing breakfast and evening meals while we have a small house (heated by open fire) on the lake itself hosting lunch and refreshments during the day. We’ll organise some fun timed competition on the lake, with maybe a small ceremony over dinner to celebrate our resulting successes.
Why not take advantage of the sauna in the evening before dinner? Or even try some cross country ski-ing?

There’s a deposit payment to reserve your entry, with the balance payable during January, before the event.

DAY 1
Wednesday 22nd Jan
Travel to Sweden (Stockholm Arlanda Airport – aim to arrive by midday or thereabouts)
You’ll meet up with your representative from DN Events, organise hire cars then make our way north to the hotel.
Drive to Hotel Snöå Bruk.
18.30 Welcome drink and presentation, briefing.
Dinner.
DAY 2
Thursday 23rd Jan
07.00 Breakfast.
08.00 Driving to the ICE Tracks.
08.30 Driving on ICE Track all day inc. lunch and snacks.
16.30 Driving Back to Hotel.
Sauna and ‘After Rally’ drinks and dinner.
DAY 3
Friday 24th Jan
07.00 Breakfast
08.00 Driving to the ICE Tracks
08.30 Driving on ICE Track all day incl Lunch and snacks
14.00 Rally Sprint Competition with 3 Special Stages on the Lake
16.30 Driving south to the Elite Hotel Brage, Borlänge – then out for drinks and dinner
DAY 4
Saturday 25th Jan
Breakfast.
Drive back to Stockholm for flights back home (or stay another night and make the most of it!)
Not included.
– Flights to/from Stockholm Arlanda Airport (ARN) – as an example return flights from/back to LHR are currently priced from @ £102 GBP
– Hire car to get to/from Snöå Bruck Hotel – we will be looking to share transport between the group for those that prefer.
– Dinner on Day 3 (we’re staying in Borlänge, with a choice of bars and restaurants as you wish)
– Alcohol (apart from the welcome drink) – no drinking and driving folks!
– Sundries not mentioned above etc, etc.
